Firdaus attended the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria where she obtained her LL.B Degree with a Second Class (Upper Division) Honour in 2016. He was admitted to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus where she obtained her Barrister-at-Law (BL) Certificate in 2017 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2018.

Firdaus has received many awards for her rare courage as an activist and for her outstanding performance as an advocate. In 2017, Firdaus challenged and successfully fought the discriminatory practice of forcing female bar aspirants to remove their head covers at the Call to the Nigerian Bar which eventually led to the Body of Benchers passing a resolution approving the use of head covers (hijab) for female bar aspirants at the Call to the Bar from 2018. Firdaus is a member of Nigerian Bar Association.
